Chemistry game. Where is it?
Periodic table, halogen group with symbols (difficult)
Halogens (from the Greek, salt-forming) are very useful elements since, as the name implies, they form salts when they react with metals. Without the halogens we would not have sodium chloride, better known as common salt. Some of the halogens, such as chlorine, iodine or bromine are used as disinfectants. However, it is necessary to be careful with them since, in their untreated form, they can be fatally toxic.
The periodic table of the elements is the way proposed by Dmitri Mendeléyev in 1869 to arrange the chemical elements, which are ordered by their atomic number, their electron configuration and their chemical properties. Since its first appearance, this table has been increasing with the discovery of new chemical elements, some present in nature and others originated by man.
